We have some news to share - it is with mixed emotions that we announce the closure of our retail store at 580 Johnson Street. After more than 50 amazing years of serving up a legendary selection of footwear and friendly service, we have made the tough decision to transition to an online-only model starting October 2024.

If you’ve ever been to our store you know that at Baggins we’re not just dog friendly, we’re dog enthusiastic! As soon as you and your furry friend walk through our open door one of our lovely staff members will rush over to greet you and give your dog lots of love and chin scratches. We find that dogs not only brighten the store's energy but also open room for friendly conversation and connection with our range of customers. The Clash has partnered with Dr. Martens to create two iconic shoes sure to be on your most wanted list. The British icons are together at last - a collaboration 46 years in the making. Inspired by the shoes and boots they wore on stage, this collab is infused with Dr. Martens attitude.

We’ve collaborated with a few of the outstanding artists at Black Cat Tattoo to make five new Baggins Originals. Pride month may be over but it’s never too late to celebrate! For Vans’ 2022 Pride collection, they asked the community what pride meant to them. In celebration of Pride, Vans donated $200,000 from the Checkerboard Fund at Tides Foundation to three organizations that advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, one of which being the Tegan and Sara Foundation. They then used those messages to create a meaningful artistic representation of what Pride is. Let's take a look at this year’s pride collection from Vans.
