PRIDE 2021: VANS CELEBRATES LGBTQ2+

Happy Pride month! This June, Vans is supporting and celebrating the LGBTQ2+ community with the release of their 2021 Pride Collection. Not only are there an array of bright and bold redesigns of their classic kicks to choose from, but Vans is also donating $200,000 USD to LGBTQ2+ organizations. The money will be split between GLSEN, CASA 1, Where Love Is Illegal, and Tokyo Rainbow Pride which support equality around the world. For the collection, Vans is collaborating with artists and ambassadors, including queer skateboarder and photographer Samuel McGuire, who shot the campaign. Vans recognizes Pride as a movement for authentic self-expression that celebrates the spirit and identities of the LGBTQ2+ community, to be "Together As Ourselves".

Let’s introduce you to this year's Pride offerings.

PRIDE OLD SKOOL PLATFORM MULTI/TRUE WHITE

What’s red, and orange, and yellow, green, blue, violet all over? The Vans Pride Old Skool Platform Multi/True White! Featuring an all-over kaleidoscope print and rainbow eyelets, these platform sneakers are loud and bold.

PRIDE CLASSIC SLIP-ON MULTI/TRUE WHITE

The Classic Slip-on, but make it Pride! The Vans Pride Classic Slip-On Multi/True White features an updated rainbow checkerboard pattern. Not out-there enough? Within the print are the repeated letters LGBTQ+ with the word PRIDE printed across the sole.

PRIDE CLASSIC SLIP-ON PATCHWORK/TRUE WHITE

Patchwork is IN this season and you can flaunt your style in the Vans Pride Classic Slip-On Patchwork/True White. Made with a mashup of colours, textures and, of course, glitter, these slip-ons are made to show the true you.

PRIDE SK8-MID MULTI/TRUE WHITE

Have you ever wanted to shred and flaunt your pride kicks at the same time? The Vans Pride Sk8-Mid Multi/True White has made it so easy. Featuring a colourful print containing the repeated letters LGBTQ+, and of course the re-enforced toe caps and padded collars for that sk8 durability.
