Once again we are back for a meet-the-staff highlight! It's about time to meet Spencer, our print tech extraordinaire who has been with our team since 2016. Why have we waited so long for his introductory blog? Who knows! But thanks to all that time, Spencer has some insight into working at Baggins print shop, excellent taste in Vans, and adorable baby pictures to share! Without further ado...

(BB) BAGGINS BLOG: WHY DON'T YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF?

Howdy! My name is Spencer and I’m a print tech at Baggins!

BB: WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT TOP 3 PRODUCT PICKS?

My current 3 favourite shoes at Baggins are the Cornstalk Sk8-Hi, the Astral Aura Lowland, and the Monochrome Black Ultra Range Exo.

BB: WHAT’S THE CRAZIEST/BEST/MOST DIFFERENT THING YOU’VE DONE IN A PAIR OF CONVERSE?

Scootered around the streets of Vietnam as an 18-year-old.

BB: WHAT DO YOU DO DURING YOUR FREE TIME?

I like to draw pictures of dogs, listen to podcasts, and change my baby’s diaper.

BB: WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT VICTORIA?

I love that I can stay within my little neighbourhood, and pretend I live in a small town, or walk for 10 minutes and get just enough of a city feeling before heading straight back home.

BB: WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITE TUNES?

I am loving the new tracks “FLY AGAIN” and “BLACKOUT” from Turnstile and the album “The Long and the Short of it” from quickly, quickly.

BB: WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING FOR BAGGINS?

I love working at the Baggins print shop because it is such a unique creative environment where we are able to make things that nobody else in the world is really doing. The people I work with also make every day enjoyable!

BB: IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ONE SHOE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHICH STYLE/BRAND WOULD IT BE?

I would just choose a simple monochrome black Vans slip-on.

BB: ANY LIFE/SHOE/PERSONAL ADVICE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH OUR READERS?

I would advise everyone to create their own design and get some custom shoes or shirts because it's just really fun and rewarding to see your own artwork on a piece of clothing!
