The Vans Authentic is the original silhouette that Vans first created in 1966. Spring 2021 sees the Vans Authentic Checkerboard in Waterfall Blue. We're partial to this pair, as the teal colour is frighteningly close to our beloved brand colour - we simply had to stock these! Featuring a teal and white checkerboard pattern, classic waffle sole, red Vans license plate on the heel, and a canvas upper, these shoes are super cute and are going to be in high demand - get your own pair while they're still in stock!
When you think Vans checkerboard, you most likely think of the Vans Classic Slip-on. This season features three new colorways for Spring; we have the Vans Classic Slip-on Checkerboard Ballad Blue, Vans Classic Slip-on Checkerboard Shale Green, and Vans Classic Slip-on Checkerboard Incense.
Each one has an easy on and off design with elastic accents to allow for your foot to slide in and out of the shoes with ease. They also have the classic waffle sole, canvas upper, and padded ankle. Each colour is highly-requested, fresh, and a good neutral option all wrapped up in one perfect shoe box.
In late 2020 Vans introduced the Sk8 Low which takes the Sk8 Hi fit and chops off the high-top elements to create this shoe. A wide-fitting shoe that's perfect for skaters and strollers alike, with the durability of that pair of Sk8 Hi's you've had forever. For Spring 2021, Vans adds their famous checkerboard pattern to the mix with the Vans Sk8-low Checker Black/White.
The shoe has a wide toe box, double stitching for durability, and the infamous side stripe. Made of suede which means you can rough these shoes up way more than a canvas pair - which makes them ideal for shredding around town.
Finally, we bring in the Vans Kids Classic Slip-on Checker Delphinium for kids wearing a Youth size 10.5 - 3. These are a slightly brighter blue than the Ballad Blue for Adults, but still are neutral and great for any gender or style. They are easy on and off so perfect for the quick change between recess and the classroom.
The shoes are non-marking with the classic waffle sole which is has a great grip for the gymnasium. The padded ankle and canvas upper make them lightweight and comfortable right off the bat - no uncomfy breaking-in necessary.
