This year, Vans took their colour assortment to a whole new level with their springy colours in basically all of their styles, most notably in the Sk8-Hi’s, Old Skools, Authentics, and Slip-ons.
You all knew they were coming, and now they have finally arrived, and they were soooo worth the wait:
We had to kick this off this review of the Vans 2017 Spring Collection with this pair of super bright Vans Sk8-Hi Slim (Neon Leather) Neon Pink/True White, which need no further introduction:
Now, they might not be for everyone, but to someone, they are going to be everything. The bonus factor is that since they are leather, they’re going to last for several decades – perfect for when neon comes and goes out of fashion.
Also bright and also awesome are these Vans Sk8-Hi (Suede/Canvas) Spectra Yellow/True White. This bright hi top features a canvas and suede upper with reinforced toe area, classic side stripe, and padded ankle collar all on top of a classic rubber waffle sole.
Still in the Sk8-Hi category are these more subdued shoes. The dark grey of these Vans Sk8-Hi (Canvas) Asphalt is great for rainy spring days. A full canvas upper, padded ankle collar, reinforced toe, and rubber waffle print sole make these classic hi tops a perennial favourite.
