The latest additions to Vans Disney line available through Baggins are inspired by The Jungle Book (1967), Alice in Wonderland (1951) and 101 Dalmatians (1961)—all classic Disney animations that are multiple decades old and born in the same generation as Vans itself!

While Disney continues to pump out fantastic, unforgettable films for people of all ages, we are happy to see the classics get as much attention as they still do. In no particular order, here are some of our favourite additions to the Vans Disney line as of this winter.

The Vans Authentic (Disney) The Jungle Book/Black pattern features your favourite characters from the movie, including Baloo, Shere Khan, King Louie, and Mowgli.

VANS AUTHENTIC (DISNEY) THE JUNGLE BOOK

This fun, leafy print, complete with vulcanized soles, signature waffle bottom construction, and canvas uppers, covers the bases as it wraps your feet in childhood memories. Rudyard Kipling would be proud (we hope).

For a brighter touch, slip into a pair of these new Vans Classic Slip-On (Disney) The Jungle Book/Classic Blue featuring the crafty ssssnake Kaa.

VANS CLASSIC SLIP-ON (DISNEY) THE JUNGLE BOOK

The Jungle Book comes to life amidst the jungle leaf pattern featuring Mowgli, King Louie, Baloo, and Shere Khan. With classic features like the sturdy canvas uppers, elastic side accents, waffle soles, and padded collars, these fun shoes won’t let you down.

Jungle Book Fun Fact: The Jungle Book was released in 1967, a year after Walt Disney passed away. This makes the movie the last animated film to have been in production and personally supervised by Mr. Disney himself.

Next up on our list of Vans Disney shoes that will never go out of style are two pairs featuring the beloved young pups from 101 Dalmatians. These adorable Vans Authentic (Disney) Dalmatians/Red are patterned with your favourite pups from Perdita and Pongo’s brood. They are sure to turn heads and get people talking.

VANS AUTHENTIC (DISNEY) DALMATIANS RED

While no one would be too pleased to see these pups on a fur coat, these shoes are irresistible. (Too soon?) For a less colourful option, the Dalmatians also make their marks on these Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue (Disney) Dalmatians/White:

VANS SK8-HI REISSUE (DISNEY) DALMATIANS

This pair of Vans will hold up a bit better in cooler weather with its suede and canvas uppers, reinforced toecaps and padded collars. Dogs on shoes haven’t looked this good since the Vans SPCA special collection.

101 Dalmatians Fun Fact: Throughout the course of 101 Dalmatians, the number of spots on screen creeps up there. There are 6,469,952 spots in total revealed in more than 113,760 frames. Sounds like tall order, but the animators were able to make use of Xerox technology to transfer artwork, making the movie one of the first feature animations to do so.

Finally, we’re adoring three new Alice in Wonderland Vans that have been added to the Vans Disney Collection. While the classic tale has been remade a bunch of times, no one can forget the original Disney version, especially the makers of Vans who pay tribute to Disney’s Alice with three starring shoes, including the Sk8-Hi Reissue (Disney) Rabbit Hole/Black that highlight that pivotal point in the movie when key characters fall down the rabbit hole.

VANS SK8-HI REISSUE (DISNEY) RABBIT HOLE

Know anyone whose favourite Alice character is Cheshire Cat? The one who famously said “Most everyone's mad here….You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself?” The Vans Authentic (Disney) Cheshire Cat/Black certainly captures some of that madness in print on a pair of Vans. The hypnotizing pattern really captures the mischievous nature of Cheshire Cat. And that grin…

Last but not least, the Vans Classic Slip-On (Disney) Wonderland/Pink features many of your favourite characters in one place.

VANS CLASSIC SLIP-ON (DISNEY) WONDERLAND

The question is, are you fan enough to wear mismatched shoes? ‘Cuz there are just so many loveable Alice characters Vans couldn’t fit them all on one!

Alice in Wonderland Fun Fact: When Alice in Wonderland premiered in both London and New York City, it didn’t get rave reviews. In fact, British critics especially came out hating on it, claiming the film, which is based on a British literary classic, was too Americanized. It wasn’t until the 70s that Alice made her comeback – the movie became popular amongst college kids for its psychedelic scenes.
