Or...snoozing in shoeboxes. I mean, just look at me! I’m the world’s most beautiful, beloved and talented store cat and as thanks, I have unlimited access to the latest Vans styles. It’s a tough life, I tell ya.
But enough about me. Let’s get to the important stuff: the Vans and the celebs who love them.
Sean Penn
A classic Sean Penn moment from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. These checkered gems became a nationwide fad after appearing in the movie, and the easy, timeless look has been going strong ever since.
You can get your own pair of Vans Classic Slip-On Checkerboard on our website, in tons of different colours. We have them for babies, toddlers and kids too!
Brad Pitt
Brad, Angelina and their pack of kidlets hit up Australia in style. Both Brad and son Maddox are sporting Vans—Brad opts for trendy in the Vans Alcon boot/sneaker hybrid, while Maddox stays classic in the Vans Era Low Top (these styles are available in a whole bunch of colours).
Sorry for not including Brad’s handsome mug in the photo, but this is about the shoes.
Harry Potter
Underneath all those robes, Harry Potter is actually one heck of a great dresser (and one heck of a jumper!). Classic suit, classic tie, and some Old Skool Vans to finish the look.
Wait, what? His name isn’t actually Harry Potter? Whatever. At least Hermione is real.
Pharrell Williams
The singer/songwriter/rapper/producer/musician/designer appeared on the Late Show wearing navy blue Vans authentic sneakers. Paired with comfy pants and a grey hoodie, it’s a simple, understated look that’ll take you from day to night in style.
Kristen Stewart
K-Stew, as the young’uns call her, is a big fan of Vans. She even took part in Vans' annual "Custom Culture" contest, where celebs customize a pair in the name of art education.
This is a picture of K-Stew’s contribution. While I’m sure her heart was in the right place, I’m sure she could do a lot better than these hastily scrawled initials. And you know what? You can too!
With a few clicks, you can create your very own kicks right on our website. Just choose your shoe (Vans Classic Slip-On, Converse Hi-Top or Converse Lo-Top), pick your size, upload your image and voila! The customized shoes of your dreams.
Of course, you could just scribble all over your shoes with a Sharpie, a la Kristen Stewart. But this is way better. Fraidy’s word of honour.
