Baggins Original Hi Tops Olfactory is one for the scientists. Camillo Golgi's Sulla fina anatomia degli organi centrali del sistema nervoso (1885) lends artwork to this design. The particular piece we chose to feature is a diagram of the olfactory system, or the sense of smell.

Neuroscience, delving into human behavior through the nervous system, emerged in the late 19th century. Camillo Golgi's innovative method and Santiago Ramón y Cajal's improvements led to the establishment of the neuron doctrine, challenging earlier theories. In 1906, both were jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, marking a pivotal moment in neuroscience history.
